Reviewing your Year

It's a common habit for many people to do “end of year”-reviews and then make goals for the year that is about to start. It feels like the right time to do so because we connect ends and beginnings of years with cycles, and also because we humans are highly ritualistic.

Some of these rituals have become very well known, especially in current times. The Twelfth Night is one of those rituals that bring “common” people in contact with the concepts of spirituality and foreseeing things through dreams. There are other rituals that are more widespread and “earthly”, like holding a bank note in your hand at midnight, wearing underwear of a certain color, eating twelve grapes, etc.

Years, in the way we measure them, are a construct of the 3D human mind. Years don't exist in this way in the higher dimensions. If you approach your years on Earth from this perspective, you come to realize that anytime is good to do reviews, to reconsider and to set new goals, ideas, etc.

This doesn't mean that it's “wrong” to carry on with the ritualistic way we're accustomed to, using the end of the year for these revisions. Since our Inner Beings (or Higher Selves or however you prefer to call them) don't exist in the same time-space reality that we do “down here” in the 3D-Matrix, they don't mind whether we do this by the end of a “calendar year” or later or sooner.

Needless to say, 2020 has been a very special year for everyone on planet Earth, so this form of ritual acquires a new value.

In this last year, many people had their lives completely turned around. Some did it more or less voluntarily whilst some were literally forced to do so: business got closed, musicians' careers stopped, people sent to work from home, etc. However we look at it, it's been a transformational year for all.

These forms of crisis bring about opportunities, and humankind has partially missed the chance of coming closer together. The current world division we're experiencing is a result of the 3D human duality, the good old vs. evil, and this is what most people seem to be focusing on through this whole situation, despite all the other positive things that are happening.

One thing is sure: No one can predict what 2021 will bring. Already by the end of 2019 there were messages from several channelers saying that the timelines in 2020 looked too blurry and predictions shouldn't be made, because they could all fail.

Truth is that we're still handling many different timelines right now and it's time to focus on those timelines that are beneficial for us. This means that we don't need to depend on predictions (I wrote about this on my former blog article https://thepowercreates.blogspot.com/2021/01/spirituality-and-decision-making.html).

We'll do much better by concentrating on the things we want but remaining flexible and open for change. The best of all this is that it is a great time to break bonds or “contracts” that are no longer serving us.

Many people through history have made use of times of crisis to thrive, so the bad economy because of the current world situation is as much true as you decide to believe in it. Sometimes this which we call “bad economy” in our 3D terms is exactly what we need in order to turn things around, to leave the comfort zone and use our own creativity so that we can try new things and expand.

Before this whole situation started, many humans were living and creating by default rather than consciously. We tend too easily to get accustomed to certain ways of doing things, like people who always take the same road or train when they commute or who follow the same routine patterns every single day. 2020 got people out of these patterns and then many didn't know what to do or where they were standing anymore.

What's next? If you went through some of these changes you weren't expecting, use this time to evaluate what is it that you want to do next. This whole situation has shown us once again that there's nothing sure in this 3D life. The so-called "security" is an illusion. It's like those people who got a life-long contract at a company and thought they were secure for life, then the company went bankrupt and these same people had to rethink their lives and priorities. The secure job wasn't there anymore! Same thing with relationships. Many couples separated in 2020, but many others also got closer together. So the “secure” status of any relationship wasn't there anymore either.

Whatever situation you're in right now, that's where you are, and no one can promise you it will look exactly the same one year from now.

New “cures” have been announced to deal with this thing, but does this mean the situation is done for? So if everybody takes these “cures”, then we'll be back to “normal”? There's no way to know! The new variant of this thing that surfaced in the UK led to a temporary stop of traffic between them and continental Europe, which left several truck drivers stranded for days in the cold winter. So it was basically the same situation from beginning of the year repeating itself. Anything can happen now!

What I want to tell you with this is that all can and will be fine if you focus on it and get rid of that which no longer serves you. I want to tell you that it's not only all right to try new things, but that it's even necessary.

We didn't come to Earth in order to live a stagnating life, but we came here to expand. That's what the Universe is about and that's why we have a Power of Creation. This power is being used constantly by us, so the best way to use it is for that which benefits us.

Ask yourself at this time:

  • Where was I at the beginning of the year?

  • Where am I now?

  • Am I where I want to be?

  • Am I at least on my way?

  • If I'm not, what's keeping me from being there?

  • What do I need to get rid of? Are those in my circle of friends beneficial to me? Are they uplifting or are they putting me down? Same with my relatives or loved ones

  • Am I putting myself first? There's nothing wrong with egoism if handled correctly, which means checking that I'm doing well first before you can help others

  • What has worked so far? What hasn't? What am I willing to do differently?

When asking yourself these questions, I advice you to be brutally honest with yourself. I know from experience that this isn't always easy. Sometimes we cling so hard to those beliefs that have been imposed upon us that we end up telling ourselves lies. See how your emotions communicate with you and tell you what it is that you really want to be, do or have.

Whatever you decide, be easy on yourself, because old habits and thoughts might not go away so easily, but once you've acquired this honesty with yourself, you'll be more and more on your way.

Whenever you're reading this, be it by the time I'm posting it (January 2021) or later on, I wish you a happy life with lots of new knowledge and expansion.

Love,

Henry
